Workshop on Instructor Competencies and Professional Development in Teaching Turkish

An online workshop titled “Instructor Competencies and Professional Development in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language” was held on April 9-10 by the Council of Directors of Turkish Teaching Centers and Units.

The workshop addressed, from a comprehensive and multidimensional perspective, key issues such as instructor competencies, criteria for entry into the profession, professional development processes, and the roles instructors undertake within the framework of quality assurance.

Assist. Prof. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, Director of the Turkish Education Application and Research Center (IGUN-TOMER) at Istanbul Gedik University, participated in the workshop and made valuable contributions through her insights and evaluations.
