TURKISH LANGUAGE TRAINING PROVIDED TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND ACADEMICS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF ERASMUS+

On 15 June 2026, a two-hour Crash Turkish Course was organized by the Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center of Istanbul Gedik University (IGUN-TOMER) for academics and students from the Krakow University of Economics and the University of Aveiro within the framework of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP).

The training was conducted by Dr. Merve Mutlu, a lecturer at IGUN-TOMER. During the course, participants were introduced to basic Turkish expressions that could assist them during their stay in Türkiye, as well as information about Turkish culture and social life. Through interactive activities, participants had the opportunity to experience the Turkish language in the context of everyday life.

The training contributed to increasing participants’ awareness of the Turkish language and culture and supported intercultural interaction.

The programme was successfully completed following a commemorative photo session with the participants.
