Communication Skills in Teaching Turkish to Foreigners” Event

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, Director of Istanbul Gedik University Turkish Education Application and Research Center (IGUN-TOMER), participated in the online event titled “Communication Skills in Teaching Turkish to Foreigners”, organized by Fenerbahçe University Turkish Education Application and Research Center (FBUTOMER) on 10 November 2025.

The guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Mustafa KURT, who serves at Gazi University. In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Kurt addressed the importance of the communicative approach in teaching Turkish as a foreign language and shared valuable insights with the participants regarding the contributions of effective communication skills to the instructional process.

The event was a productive gathering in which ideas were exchanged and contributions were made to the instructional process in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language.
