OUR STUDENTS WIN TWO GOLD MEDALS AT EUSA COMBAT SPORTS 2026

Our students Rüya Diler and Hayrunnisa Gürbüz from the Department of Physical Education Teaching won two gold medals at EUSA Combat Sports 2026, held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, becoming champions in their respective Kyorugi categories.

Organized by the European University Sports Association (EUSA), the championship brought together university student-athletes from across Europe in Tirana. Competing on behalf of our university, our students delivered outstanding performances in their respective weight categories and claimed the top spot on the podium.

Hayrunnisa Gürbüz won the gold medal in the Kyorugi 53 kg category, while Rüya Diler became the champion in the Kyorugi 57 kg category.
