Faculty Members and Student of the Faculty of Sport Sciences at the Istanbul Marathon

On Sunday, November 3, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Merve Bal and Assistant Professor Dr. Seyed Houtan Shahidi from our faculty participated in the Istanbul Marathon. Abdullah Tuğluk, our master’s student in Physical Education and Sport Sciences and a national athlete, achieved a remarkable success by finishing the race with an outstanding performance.

We congratulate our student, who represented our faculty successfully at the national level, as well as our distinguished faculty members who took part in the marathon, and wish them continued success.

As the Faculty of Sport Sciences, we take pride in our faculty members and students who actively engage in sports events alongside their academic activities. We believe that such participation strengthens the sporting culture within our faculty and enhances social awareness.
