Istanbul Gedik Üniversitesi Women’s Volleyball Team Promoted to the 1st League

Competing in the Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF) Istanbul Women’s Volleyball 2nd League, the İstanbul Gedik Üniversitesi Women’s Volleyball Team achieved a remarkable success by earning promotion to the 1st League in the 2025–2026 season.

Demonstrating an outstanding performance throughout the season, our team completed Group A as the undefeated leader and advanced to the quarterfinals. In a highly competitive quarterfinal match against İstanbul Üniversitesi, our team secured a 3–2 victory and advanced to the semifinals.

Facing İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi in the semifinals, our team was defeated 3–1 but maintained its determination and motivation. In the third-place match against Haliç Üniversitesi, the Women’s Volleyball Team delivered an impressive performance and won the match 3–1, successfully earning promotion to the TÜSF Istanbul Women’s Volleyball 1st League.
