Research Assistant Eylül Ezgi Türker Tatlı Contributes a Chapter to an Edited Volume on Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Research Assistant Eylül Ezgi Türker Tatlı from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Gedik University has contributed a book chapter as a section author to the edited volume titled Communication Studies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rengim Sine Nazlı.
Addressing current debates in the fields of artificial intelligence and communication, the volume offers a multidimensional perspective on the effects of digitalization on contemporary communication practices.
In her chapter entitled “Digital Culture, Artificial Intelligence Aesthetics, and Creative Industries,” Tatlı focuses on Instagram as a contemporary example of digital platform aesthetics and examines how AI-supported visual production reshapes aesthetic perceptions within digital culture and the creative industries.
The chapter contributes to academic discussions on visual culture, artificial intelligence aesthetics, and communication studies by offering a critical and theoretically grounded analysis of emerging digital practices.
