Asst. Prof. Kusay Tatlı Participates in the İyi Tasarım_11 Exhibition

Asst. Prof. Kusay Tatlı, a faculty member in the Department of Visual Communication Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Istanbul Gedik University, is participating in the “İyi Tasarım?” exhibition, held as part of İyi Tasarım_11, with his video work titled “Cubic Pulsar as a Non-Entropic Object.” Organized by the Izmir Mediterranean Academy of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the exhibition is open to visitors at the historic Bıçakçı Han in Izmir from October 16 to 30, 2026.

Tatlı’s work explores whether a digital object can undergo entropy, drawing on the gradual deterioration and disintegration of objects in the physical world. Through the continuous reappearance of the same cube, light, and boundaries, the video presents a state of existence in which deterioration is deferred despite the passage of time. The work invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between continuity, time, and entropy in digital environments.
