Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Held Its Internal and External Stakeholder Meeting

The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Gedik University, held its Internal and External Stakeholder Meeting online on 29 June 2026 to evaluate stakeholder feedback and support the continuous improvement of its educational processes.

The meeting was attended by members of the Department Advisory Board, external stakeholders, internal stakeholders, and faculty members. During the meeting, recent developments regarding the Department’s educational activities were discussed, and quality assurance initiatives were reviewed in light of the opinions and recommendations provided by the stakeholders.

Within the scope of the meeting, participants were informed about the newly established academic programs within the department, and updates to the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation curriculum were presented. In addition, revisions made in line with the updated Core Education Program (CEP) and their implications for clinical education were discussed. Participants also exchanged views on strengthening the relationship between the curriculum and clinical practice processes, while information regarding the graduation ceremony was shared.

It was emphasized that the feedback received from stakeholders would contribute to the continuous improvement of the Department’s educational activities and support the professional development of its students.
