A COLLABORATION MEETING WAS HELD BETWEEN ISTANBUL GEDIK UNIVERSITY AND BAKU HIGHER OIL SCHOOL

On April 28, 2025, an online meeting was held between Istanbul Gedik University and Baku Higher Oil School. The meeting was attended by Cahan Mammadova from Baku Higher Oil School; from Istanbul Gedik University, Erasmus and International Relations Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Erkan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Redvan Ghasemlounia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Egemen Sulukan, Dr. Lecturer Kıvanç Ali Anıl, and Erasmus Office representatives İlayda Önder and Hazal Karataş participated.

The meeting focused on possible academic collaborations between the two universities. Topics such as bilateral student and staff exchange, online course opportunities, visiting lectureships, joint certificate programs, and the long-term goal of establishing a double degree program were discussed. Both universities also exchanged information on their current departments, languages of instruction, and areas of academic compatibility.

The meeting concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and cooperation, emphasizing the intention to plan concrete collaborative steps in the near future.
