Dr. Sena Berktaş DELIVERED a SEMINAR at PSYNERA Psychology COMMUNITY

Dr. Sena Berktaş, a faculty member of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, delivered a seminar at PSYNERA Clinical Psychology Lab on 26 June, focusing on the influence of psychological factors on design processes. During the seminar, psychology students and graduates explored how findings from psychology-based research can be integrated into design practices to develop practical and human-centred solutions. Through various examples, the session highlighted how psychological insights can contribute to understanding user needs and addressing complex challenges through design. The seminar also introduced the concepts of Social Innovation and Responsible Design, highlighting their significance as interdisciplinary approaches that connect psychology and design. Participants were encouraged to consider these perspectives in their future research and professional practices.
