IGUN-TOMER Picnic Event

Students and academic staff of Istanbul Gedik University Turkish Education Application and Research Center (IGUN-TOMER) came together for a picnic on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, held at Aydos Forest.

Taking place in a natural and friendly atmosphere, the event provided students and academics the opportunity to spend time together and get to know each other better. Throughout the day, various activities allowed students to enjoy fun moments while naturally improving their Turkish communication skills.

During the event, students’ opinions and requests were directly heard by the academics, fostering mutual exchanges about the educational processes.

As IGUN-TOMER, we continue to organize activities aimed not only at supporting our students’ language proficiency but also at strengthening their social and cultural adaptation. Through events like this, we aim to make the experiences of our international students in Turkey more meaningful and enjoyable.
