19 May Commemoration at IGUN-TOMER

Students of IGUN-TOMER (Istanbul Gedik University Turkish Education Application and Research Center) came together for a meaningful event in celebration of 19 May, Commemoration of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day. During the event, the documentary “19 May is My Birthday” was screened. Following the screening, faculty members delivered speeches on the significance of the day. Students’ questions were answered, and participants’ thoughts and feelings were shared. The event contributed to students’ closer understanding of Turkey’s national holidays and strengthened their cultural connections.
